Honey--Take this thing back in the morning!!

We bought an Ashley counter height table that is rectangular. I couldn't stand the round one we had. Kerry's sister will be inheriting it, we'll be taking a trip to Pascagoula, MS sometime with that and the bedroom suite in the back room. (Kerry is starting to sand the iron bed as I speak) I loved the round table, BUT let's face it, we don't have a round kitchen. So we pick it up and I put the table together, the reason it looks like this is I need helping standing it up. So the lady asks me, would you like us to put the chairs together. Me--No that's OK, they shouldn't be too hard. OMGosh---

It took me 1-1/2 hours to put this together and it not even tightened up, and the legs and slats I didn't do something right, so God forbid if someone was to sit on this right now. Ugh! Or Even later, it's going back, we need them to fix this one to make sure it's sturdy. I'm going to ask Kerry to take it back in the morning (I'll be in Auburn)

And OH, by the way honey, please take these other three and have them put them together. It's OK if I have to wait until next week to pick them up. I'm tarred.

If I had to put those other three together tonight, this is where I would be. As Aunt Vicky would say "Give me Strength".

I need to finish packing for my little trip tomorrow., let's see, I need my blood pressure pill and my hormone pill. God forbid if I leave that thing, Oh yea, and my fan--let me get that now. They come in handy for hot flashes.

Ahhh-the smell of Pine Chips

Samantha went to the groomers today and had her hair cut. she's a little doll. she always smell like pine chips when she comes home. Our little girl. We think she's lost weight also. We've had her on a diet. She's eating Purina diet and we are actually measuring it out now. :)

This was taken this beautiful Sunday morning. Samantha LOVES to go out in the front yard, We don't know what it is about the back, we feel like we're almost torturing her putting her in a huge fenced-in back yard.

She loves to roll on her back in the yard. Look at all the grass on her. She's OUR little squirt.

Mommy and Daddy are standing in the foyer talking about how much she loves to sit in the yard. It's going to be 65 degrees today.

I had my teeth cleaned Wednesday ($140!!!!) and I'm getting a haircut this coming Friday, I will be looking so fine.

We know why these 2 are smiling so big-their not married-(no-now I know what your thinking, that's not what I meant) What I meant to say was that they will be married in 3 weeks. Ahhhaaa!

It was fun night!

It's a wonder we didn't get kicked out. Everyone in the place was in their seats remembering why they were there, to put that spark back into their relationship. US all-we were all walking around, carrying on, camera in tow, smile--smile--, loud, laughing our heads off, obnoxious.

We were like, OK, we need to settle down, get back in our seats and act civilized, wait on the entertainment. So that we did.

Our Valentine's Night Out

It's been so long since Kerry and I have "gone out dancing". I mean--I can't remember, so leading up to this evening, I thought, hmmmm, OK, he wants to see me in a dress--dressed UP! I mean---we're going to a place called Yesterdays, it's out in the country here in Athens, kind of looks like the Knights of Columbus hall, and they put on several things throughout the year, no drinking, no smoking, which that's good. We don't do neither, and we with a bunch of our Christian friends, so even if some of us did, we probably wouldn't in front of each other, know what I mean?!?!



So I bought a black skirt, black top, red shirt, HOSE (Give me Strength!!!!) they felt like sandpaper, I thought I would die with those things on. When I got in the car this afternoon there they were laying in the floorboard:) HeeHee I thought I'm going to look HOT for my man. Although he thought I did, I didn't think so, I changed my tops I know 10 times, and the red jacket at least 7 times. sigh// So off we go at around 5:15, dinner is at 6:00. Let's go honey.



We get there, pull into the gravel parking lot, sign on the road with flashing neon lights, yep-there's Yesterdays. We back in, not many there, Kerry and I are just kind of talking, we see a guy come outside



Me: Honey-that looks like Harry (he has high hair)

Kerry: You mean Harvey

Me: YES! I I'm sorry I meant HarveY!

Kerry: Yes it does look like him. Hmmm, so he's here early.

a minute goes by

Kerry: Is that Harvey???? Why does he have STAFF written on the back of his shirt? Does he work here?!?!

Me: I don't think so-----I've taken my glasses off now because I want to look sexy for my man tonight. So I put my glasses on and look real good-OH that's not Harvey-it just looks like him because he has high hair.

People start pulling in to the gravel driveway-

Me: OH NO! those people have jeans on, I WISH I HAD WORN MINE. I would be so much comfortable especially when I start doing the Electric Slide~~~~

Kerry: But you look so nice, your beautiful!

Me: Ahhhhaw-thank you honey---you too!



Me: Ok, there's a couple that dressed up----HONEY!!!! All these people are OLD farts! My goodness. Well it doesn't matter because we're with our biker friends and other friends so it doesn't matter. It'll still be fun.



Kerry: Ew-these people are pulling in with a hummer-

Me: How nice, 2 couples get out, their dressed up, and they look preppy, they don't look like the type that would be there, they look more like Bridge Street people. I'm checking the two ladies out to see if I MIGHT look as nice as them. One was taller and slenderer so pretty, so NO I'm not like her for sure.



Kerry: There's a couple with jeans on............

Me: As they walk closer to the door---that's Barry and Teresa

Kerry: Oh yea, it is, want to get out

Me: NO WAY! It's freezing outside, we'll sit in the car so we can check everybody out :) Poor Teresa, she doesn't have a coat, should we ask her if she wants this one in the car?!?!

Oh there's Steve and Donna............

They wouldn't let us in until 6:00, walked up to get our meal, chicken or steak, we opted for chicken, made up salads in small styrophome bowls, baked potato, roll, dessert, tea, water, coffee. It was good, THEN the fun began. Roberta Silva came out and entertained us. I remember her back when I was 21 yrs old during the JetStar days......... She STILL looked good. At the break I went up to her and she hugged me and knew my name, knew I was a Zarzour, we talked and talked. She's almost 53, darling figure. It was fun, we danced our little bunyons off........ BTW-I treated Kerry to a spa pedicure yesterday--they had their work cut out for themselves, he has a HUGE callous on the bottom of one of his feet, and they scraped and scraped, I believe they scraped enough to fill up a four place setting of spaghetti toppings:)

We got home around 10:30, that's late for us. But it was fun. I love my darling. He's the bestest husband a girl could ask for. I would take NOTHING in his place,and NEVER will......... He's so good to me. We took a nap this afternoon, got up, went to the big town of Athens--we took Samantha with us also, she was due to get out of the house, wheeeeewwwwweeeee-went to Lowes, that's always fun, even for a woman; went to Zaxby's for a salad (their really not low fat when you think about it); went to Starbucks to get a cup of coffee; then dropped by Cracker Barrel just to look around at the goodies, had all their easter stuff out. We could smell the fireplace going as soon as we walked in. Mmmmm, smelled soooooo good. Made us want to head to the mountains in the Smokies. We LOVE the Smokies. I told Kerry when we go this year I wanted to get a wood-burning fireplace this time. We normally have the gas logs.

So I would say we had a pretty good Valentines. We're expecting snow tonight. :) Holiday tomorrow. Kerry is on call for the next two weeks. He can't anything during that time.

Precious Samantha-her birthday is this month.
check out this grill-this is frozen tilapia, all you do is place the grill over the stove eye and it grills it. I'm excited about eating tilapia again, maybe, just maybe I'll be excited like Jenny is about her turkey wienies. :) I'm also having frozen green beans with garlic in it.

OK I'm up here blaming it on who's know's what!!! Alright, I fell asleep before I could see who won Wheel of Fortune, and woke up off the couch at 11:00 from a spasm in my foot! It is now 1:49 am and I'm not back to sleep yet.

Here's how my night or more or less morning in the bed. Got there, Sam is on my side at the foot of the bed and then there's my baby doll beside me. Well I ended up getting a wedgie and couldn't get out of it. Sam all sprawled out and then Kerry.

I get hot and start shedding stuff......... I have a hot flash!!!!!! I felt like I just jumped out of a hot shower wet and all....... So I get back in bed.

I'm cold---Honeyyyyyyy hold me, grunt grunt, Kerry rolls over and holds me. Ah yes, this is what I wanted, this will put me back to sleep, my man holding me tight and making me feel safe from the burglars that have been terrorizing our community, yes I read that on the front page of the 9 page Athens newspaper this morning as I was getting coffee at the community country store.

Oh no--I forgot to take the chicken and yogurt out of my lunch pale that I brought home from work. Hmmm-wonder if I should get up and put it in the fridge. Don't think so, it's been sitting out way too long. Oh well--so much for that.

It was nice of StateFarm to quote us $485 instead of the $961 that Hartford was wanting. I hated that the homeowners went up, but overall we're saving hundreds in a years time. Wonder if we had a security system or those three dimensional shingles on the roof it it would bring our rate down.

It's nice to know that the incident where I hit the cow 5 years in June will come off my record.

Man--Kerry's like a oven, he is burning me up, so I roll back off of him. I toss and turn, flip flop, I'm thinking we need to go get new pillows. These have seen their last feather....... We need to do that this weekend.

Focus Kathy, focus, you need to get up in a couple of hours and get on that treadmill and head to work (I see sick leave coming in a phone call).

so I start counting sheep, one sheep, two sheep, three sheep all the way up to like 2,852........... didn't work---you know why????

I'll tell you why, I'd stop to pet a sheep, I'd stop to talk to the sheep, some of my sheep never made it over the picket fence, they got straddled, hurt, I had to make them feel better and shove them over, I had to stop some of them from bickering, come on guys, let's jump over the fence, I'm trying to get some sleep here! Some of them wandered off, I had to bring them back.

Needless to say, I'm wore out!!! It's 1:56 am and I have to get up in a bit to "I don't know--go to work?!?!?!" I may just call in sick..........

Let's go see what's on TV---let's see who's going to try to sell me something---thank God I shredded my card two weeks ago. I'm real vulnerable right now because I'm so tired.
